Dr Richard Goulart qualified in dentistry from university of Pontificia Uiversidade Catalocia de Campina in Brazil in 1986. For the first part of his career path, he practised dentistry in Sao Paulo of Brazil and in Lisbon of Portugal, gaining knowledge and experience in his specialist field of interest, orthodontics. He then moved to live and work in the UK and in the last 20+ years of his professional life, he has been exclusively working with and providing orthodontic dentistry for adults and children of all ages including teenagers whereby he is providing Invisalign Teen to the young adults.
He has vast knowledge and experience in providing conventional orthodontic braces and the new short-term orthodontic treatments such as Invisalign and other clear aligner systems such as SureSmile. He is an accredited Platinum Elite provider of Invisalign.
Dr Goulart keeps himself well up to date with latest developments and technologies in the field of orthodontic dentistry by regularly attending courses and maintaining his knowledge through Continued Professional Development. He is a very strong believer in the least invasive techniques and methods for orthodontic treatments.
He is a well-spoken and mild-mannered person that connects well with his patients. He listens and understands his patients concern and works hard to address them whilst have their best interest and best possible treatment outcome at the forefront of his mind. He believes that a functional and a beautiful smile, not only has a strong impact in maintaining a good oral health, but it also contributes enormously to one’s confidence in everyday life, as we all front the world with our smile both socially and professionally. Richard is a firm believer of putting his patients first and providing face driven orthodontics is face driven to provide the best possible outcome.
